Mid-century Modern Home Restoration

"When friends and family first laid eyes on the house we had purchased they politely smiled and stated "Well, it's unique?". We knew they thought we were crazy, and with good reason. The house was dated, dirty, weird, ugly, and in need of a complete overhaul. But we had a vision that we could turn it into a modern day showplace! Our vision was to take this "unique" house and infuse it with a style that combined the essence of mid century modern, Scandinavian modern, and classic contemporary. We have built and rehabbed many homes by ourselves but for this particular project we decided we going to need help.

"We met with several general contractors and for the most part they all were scared by the size of the project and they too looked at us like we were crazy. Then we met Greg from Sawdust Therapy. When Greg first looked at our house he looked like an artist gazing at blank canvas. He wasn't scared or intimidated; in fact he was excited and shared our same vision. Soon Sawdust Therapy went to work. Three months later our vision came to fruition. Greg and his team were able to add some great ideas to our vision, which helped turn an ugly house into an amazing home. Their craftsmanship was excellent and more importantly their communication was excellent. We were very impressed to say the least. Now we own a home that people are simply wowed by."
