Porch/Stair Renovation

The porch was too small for the owners, and was in need of major repair.  Sawdust Therapy designed and built the porch, hand rails and steps for this client.  Fur-wood tongue & groove flooring and treads, cedar balusters, and redwood handrails, bottom rails, and posts were installed.

All parts were custom-fabricated to match the original look.  An extremely complicated compound angle cut is on the bottom of the balusters to keep the water from sitting in a "normal" square-cut installation to prevent rot.

All wood was given a two-coat primer, and finished with two top-coats to increase the life of the wood and give this home a welcoming entrance.
